Hi, my name is Tom Kriebernegg and I’ve been building digital businesses since I was a teenager.
At 15, I wasn’t just playing Counter-Strike — I was leading clans, designing logos, building clan websites, and recruiting players like a miniature CEO. That was my first taste of leadership, digital strategy, and the magic of turning ideas into something people care about.
That spark? It never left.
Instead of fading as I got older, it evolved. I started experimenting with SEO and affiliate marketing, launched my first online shop, and made all the classic rookie mistakes. But I was hooked. Obsessed with understanding how people behave online, what makes them click, and how to scale digital products.
Over the past 20 years, I turned that love for tech, games, and growth into a full-blown career — and more importantly, a calling.
I’ve built and bootstrapped startups, raised funding, hired (and fired) teams, closed major deals, survived tough pivots, and celebrated wild wins. I’ve worked with global brands, mentored founders, and spoken on stages across Europe. I’ve had the highs of winning business awards and the lows of making hard leadership calls. It’s all part of the journey.
In 2015, I co-founded App Radar, one of the first tools focused on App Store Optimization (ASO) before it was a buzzword. What started with two people and a prototype grew into a global SaaS business that helped thousands of apps get discovered and downloaded. We built a brand from scratch, raised funding, scaled operations, and put Austria on the mobile growth map.
Then in 2023, we took the next leap. App Radar merged with SplitMetrics, and I became the General Manager of the agency side of the business. That move supercharged our capabilities — bringing together data, AI, and services under one powerful umbrella.
Today, I lead one of the top app growth agencies in the world.
We partner with top-charting mobile-first companies, high-growth startups, and enterprise brands to drive millions in revenue through user acquisition, creative testing, and smart automation. We’re not just pushing installs — we’re building intelligent systems that scale with you.
But I’m not just running an agency.
I’m obsessed with what’s next.
I believe AI is going to fundamentally change how we build, market, and grow products — and I’m making sure we’re at the forefront of that shift. I spend a good chunk of my time testing agentic workflows, building automations, and figuring out a proven process on how to integrate AI into real business outcomes.
And just when I thought I couldn’t take on more…
I became a dad.
In 2024, my son was born. Becoming a father changed everything. It shifted my perspective from ambition-at-all-costs to something deeper – showing up with more patience, more clarity, and a bigger “why.” It’s no longer just about building cool stuff. It’s about building a future that matters – for him, and for all the people I get to work with.
